  •  On 6 December 2007, CJSC Gazpromneft – Aero was registered as a subsidiary enterprise of JSC Gazprom Neft. Since January 2008, the enterprise has conducted aviation-fuel supply operations (mainly “into the wing”) at Russian and foreign airports.

    In the short five years since, the enterprise has emerged as the largest aviation-fuel supplier with its own in-house network of fuel-supply systems. At the formation stage, Gazpromneft – Aero consisted of a single employee. Today, the enterprise employs over 150 people, while the total workforce of its subsidiaries and affiliates exceeds 2000 employees. 

    Milestone events of 2013

    • XI International Aviation and Space Salon in Zhukovsky. Gazpromneft-Aero was the supplier of fuel to Russian and foreign aerobatic teams, including the famous Russkie Vityazi (Russian Knights) aerobatic team. This was the third time that our company acted as partner to the Aviation and Space Salon.
    • For the first time in the company’s history, the “Best in Profession” competition of professional skills was held. More than 100 participants represented 32 enterprises in the Gazpromneft-Aero Group. The winner in the team event was the Baltimor branch team.
    • 5 years of strategic partnership with the International Air Transport Association. During the IATA aviation fuel forum in the USA our company was presented with an IATA special award in recognition of our highly-productive cooperation.
    • Gazpromneft-Aero was awarded the Emirates Certificate of Appreciation based on the results for the year. In August the airline extended its agreement on fuel supplies until 2015.
    • In 2013 the company started operating at 5 military aerodromes: Chernyakhovsk (Kaliningrad), Pushkin (St. Petersburg), Kant (Republic of Kyrgyzstan), Cheremushki (Chita) and Ulianovsk-Vostochniy (Ulianovsk). A production record was achieved – 1 million tons of jet fuel was supplied to the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation from 2011.
    • A project was launched to merge company branches. The first branches merged were Baltimor, Kursk and Borisoglebsk. Baltimor was chosen as the base enterprise, it absorbed the two other branches, which were restructured as production divisions.
    • The Gazpromneft-Aero corporate radio started broadcasting around the clock at all enterprises in the group. Every day the radio broadcasts current news and important events in the lives of the workforce.
    • A company refueling complex was commissioned at Sheremetyevo Airport. The complex is fully automated. The oil product warehouse includes four reservoirs with total capacity of around 18,000 m³. The capacity of the aviation refueling point is 300 m³ per hour.

    Milestone events of 2012

    • CJSC Gazpromneft-Aero is the leading “in-wing” supplier of aviation fuel in the Russian Federation. The company’s market share (including Moscow region) is 24%. The company supplied more than 1.9 million tons of fuel “in-wing”, up 22% from 2011.
    • 11 new branches were opened at the Air Force aerodromes. CJSC Gazpromneft-Aero is the only supplier of aviation fuel at 22 aerodromes of the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation.
    • The geography of sales on the external market was expanded – aircrafts are fuelled in 39 countries (89 cities).
    • LLC Gazpromneft-Aero Kemerovo was established.
    • Refueling services were launched at Sheremetyevo International Airport.
    • A 100% stake in LLC Yenisei Refueling Complex was purchased (JV with LUKOIL-aero).
    • An agreement was reached with Emirates for the refueling of all flights at Domodedovo Airport.

    Milestone events of 2011

    • CJSC Gazpromneft – Aero is the leader in “into the wing” aviation-fuel servicing in the RF. The group of companies increases its market share to 20%.
    • CJSC Gazpromneft – Aero is the sole aviation-fuel supplier at 11 RF Ministry of Defence depot aerodromes. Total volume of fuel deliveries – 265 K tons.
    • Export-market sales geography expands – aircraft servicing is performed in 30 countries (49 cities).
    • Company’s own training center is established to train civil-aviation fuel-supply specialists.
    • Start of fuel-servicing operations at Bishkek Airport (Kirghizia). Long-term aviation-fuel supply contract struck with DLA (United States Department of Defence).
    • Launch of alternative FSS fuel-servicing operations at Ulyanovsk Airport.
    • Commissioning of the RF’s first alternative FSS at Sheremetyevo Airport.
    • CJSC Gazpromneft – Aero named the official aviation-fuel supplier for MAKS-2011.

    2010: CJSC Gazpromneft – Aero expansion period

    January

    • Launch of aviation-fuel supplies to Orenburg Airline (Tolmachevo Airport, Novosibirsk);
    • Signing of cooperation agreements with Aviation Corporation "RusLine," AK “Taimyr;”
    • Launch of aviation-fuel supplies to Kirghizia (Osh Airport).

    February

    • Signing of cooperation agreements with Orenburg Airline (Murmansk Airport); Skyline (Tolmachevo Airport, Novosibirsk), Baltia AirLines, United Aviation Services (Pulkovo Airport, St. Petersburg), Insky Airline (Tomsk Airport);
    • Signing of cooperation agreements within the territory of Turkey between Transaero, Siberia and Globus.

    March

    • Signing of a cooperation agreement with Petrol Ofisi A.S. (Turkey);
    • Launch of aviation-fuel supplies to Mongolia, increase in aviation-fuel supplies to Afghanistan.

    April

    • Conclusion of agreements on international aviation-fuel supplies outside the RF with Russian air carriers: Aeroflot, VimAvia;
    • Launch of aviation-fuel supplies to Russian airlines in Turkey (Antalya Airport);
    • Signing of a cooperation agreement with World Fuel Services (Great Britain);
    • Signing of cooperation agreements with Volga-Dnepr Airline (Vnukovo Airport, Moscow), iFly Airline (Pulkovo Airport, St. Petersburg), Yamal Airline (Tomsk Airport), Malev Airline (Pulkovo Airport, St. Petersburg), RusAero and Shannon Air Link (Sheremetyevo Airport).

    June

    • Launch of “into the wing” servicing of VIM-AVIA at Tolmachevo Airport;
    • Launch of “into the wing” servicing of Transaero at Beijing Airport.

    July

    • Launch of “into the wing” servicing of Saravia at Vnukovo Airport;
    • Launch of “into the wing” servicing of S7 at Surgut Airport;
    • Launch of “into the wing” servicing of Utair-Express at Murmansk Airport;
    • Holding of IATA international training workshops;
    • Voluntary audit conducted by IATA inspectors at LLC Gazpromneft – Aero Murmansk, resulting in a positive finding as to the servicing of foreign airlines.

    • Launch of “into the wing” servicing of Nordavia at Rimini (Italy), Tromso (Norway) and Istanbul (Turkey) Airports;

    November

    • LLC TZK Severo-Zapad acquires oil-terminal territory at a total cost of RUB 67 mln.

    • Conclusion of a contract for aviation-fuel supplies to Gazpromavia Aviation Company;
    • Launch of “into the wing” servicing of Nordavia at Bergamo (Italy) and Helsinki (Finland) Airports;
    • Agreement concluded with aviation broker Jet AeroFuels, NESTE OIL;
    • Launch of “into the wing” servicing of Transaero at Lyons (France) Airport;

    • Critical decision made to transfer servicing at 12 RF Ministry of Defence aerodromes to CJSC Gazpromneft – Aero.
